I have been so excited about something posts and images the past 6 months (!huh, really!?) that I havent had time to post any regular posts, sorry for that. But I do hope I’ll get back to normal routine again. One motivator might be my new Canon lens I bought a couple of week ago, actually :). It is one of my dreams to come true: Canon 400 mm f4 DO ( DO stands for Diffractive Optics) I will tell later more about it, but for so far I am still in the learning phase with it. It has already proven to be fast focusing, and razor sharp with marvellous image quality and a joy to carry: its only less than 2 kg’s. With my Canon 7Dmark2 it seems to fit together perfectly. #VeryHappy
This morning was supposed to be clear and sunny, I woke up early before the sun rise to reach a small bird pond 10 km away from home. While driving, fog took over the scenery. And after all, the pond was still partly covered with ice; so, there were not much birds around. I sat there waiting something to show up, and all of a sudden felt that someone/thing is watching me. Straight across the pond was this fellow, obviously wondering if I fit in the scenery or not. But s/he was waiting for his/her buddy to arrive, because when he did, they both jumped joyfully further on the shore of the pond together. When these two had disappeared one rabbit almost ran into my back. I managed to turn around and take a few shots of him , too.
