Pretty impressive sight is world’s largest turbo-prop aircraft, Antonov 22 which visited Helsinki for the first time in some 10 years. With the help from friendly photogs, Aleksi and Mikko I got a headsup day before she was about to arrive. Luckily, and a bit surprisingly, I managed to get that 30 minutes free during the work day so I drove to Helsinki Airport. Weather was cloudy and low, but one could certainly hear her approaching… She has 4 engines and 8 propellers and as a speciality those are contra-rotating, meaning in different directions on single engine.
