is now only a sweet memory, but I thought, that I'll add a few photos of my adventures in Lapland. First of all, to reach my Lapland cottage, it takes around 10 to 11 hrs drive all the way through Finland. ( we live quite near Helsinki, the capitol of Finland) . It is not big deal, since I may sleep almost all the time, except when mommy insists to take me out of my box, when daddy is having a cup of coffee, and maybe filling up the tank. But then soon back on the road. When we get to the cottage, the first thing is to arrange all my toys, bones, and all that I 've left behind the previous time I was here. And of course one important thing is to fix my outdoor couch on the terrace. From there I can easily guard the property, and count the passing reindeer. So an easy job, and well paid.

What do we do here? We all like to go for walks, sometimes we walk in the neighborhood of the cottage, but sometime we take the van, and drive a few miles to get to same nice places. This time we did drive a bit further too, since we visited Ylläs ski resort. (http://www.yllas.fi/en). It was great! We took a ski lift ride to the top of the mountain! There were special pet cabins where dogs were allowed to enter. Once again I showed that I handle strange situations with style, absolutely no panic, I just stepped in the gondola, and then I enjoyed the scenery. It was much, much easier than walking all the way up there. We took some photographs, had a cup of coffee, and again no walk, just enter the lift, and down we went! Easy, huh?!
But the next day when mom and daddy decided to conquer the Pyhä mountain (http://pyha.fi/english/) next the cottage, I was totally stunned! I needed to WALK up there! They said that there was not a lift that I could use. hmph! there is a lift, but it is a chair-lift , so what!? I can sit on the sofa, why I couldn't sit on the chairlift? But no excuses… by foot we went. Good thing was that when we reached the top of the mountain, there was a restaurant! and we enjoyed lunch and the best part; a wafer with whipped cream and jelly, Yammy! There mommy also tried to put a cold and wet scarf over my head, but even she noticed that I looked absolutely ridicules, and took it of.

HAAA! Well Giusto, looks like you now have me beat in the embarrassing hat department!!! First that funny mosqito hat, and then a wet scarf around your head smooshing your ears! What will you parents do to you next? LOL! The mountain scenery looked really fun though and so did that delicious steak dinner picture. I hope that was your reward for wearing the scarf. xoxox EVA
