to Suomenlinna, (www.suomenlinna.fi/) a sea fortress just off Helsinki shore. It takes 15 minutes by ferry from down town Helsinki, even if the sea is frozen. When we left home the sun was behind the clouds, but when we got on the ferry, clouds moved away, and it was quite perfect day. It surprised us how many tourists were visiting Helsinki and Suomenlinna in Winter. The one thing that didn’t surprise was that so many of them wanted to take picture of me. At least 30 people asked to permission to do so and twice as many just took it. And of course I didn’t mind at all. Some twenty or so came to talk to me and my mommy and dad. It is always nice when people are interested in my breed, even though the questions are always the same: Breed? name? age? does it bite?, does it eat a lot?, how much he weighs?. We are happy to answer ! So many happy faces, and new friends! We did 3 hrs walk, and had picnic too, and than we sat down for a cup coffee in a cafe. (@maud: of course! : ))
Tehtiin sunnuntairetki Suomenlinnaan. Yllättävää kuinka paljon turisteja on talvisessa Helsingissä. :))

Giusto, I need to go there too! And when I do I will take my new friend with me. What do you think about going there with two lady friends? And good that you could go into the cafe for a coffee 🙂
