Last Sunday we did a nice long walk in the neighborhood of our forest plot. Weather was great, not too warm, but warm enough. We walked through forest paths, and roads, and ended up to our own "open logde". 8sorry there is no English word to translate it from Finnish language.) And of course, no trip is complete without something packed food to enjoy. Mommy and daddy had some sandwiches but I had a pig's ear. Remind a lot that morel we found… ( see the pic below me and mommy)
Viime pyhänän tehtiin kävelyretki Palstan ympäristössä. Loisto keli, lämmintä, mutta ei liian lämmintä. Kuljimme mukavia polkuja ja tietä pitkin, ja päädyimme laavulle syömään eväitä.Sillä eihän se ole retki eikä mikään, jos ei mukana ole eväitä! Äiskällä ja Iskällä on sämpylöitä, vaan mullapa possunkorva! Muistuttaa kovasti muuten tuota korvasientä !

and I learnt more about the lodge by Judy from Facebook; she told this: “If the open logde is your seating area with the roof, it could be referred to in English as a lean-to in English http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lean-to “
